The Puzzle Feeder Plait is our most popular enrichment toy, designed to engage your dog's brain, nose and natural behaviours, providing mental stimulation for the home.
Since the toy is lightweight and easy to carry, you can easily take it with you to help your dog feel comfortable in new environments, such as a café or holiday home.
How to use:
Featuring spacious "treat pockets" along its super-sized length, hide your dog's dry food or treats inside each opening. You can also stuff treats between the folds of the plait.
This provides a puzzle feeding activity and fulfilling brain game for dogs, keeping them entertained as they sniff out and retrieve the hidden goodies.

It's best to start with long treats (e.g. sprats). Poke these out of the pockets so your dog can easily extract them. You can then gradually try a few smaller treats concealed within the pockets.

Ensure your dog doesn't try to chew through the fabric to get to the treats - if they find concealed treats too challenging, revert to the easy extractions with long treats.

I bought this for my dog to have some of her kibble in from her meals. I slip the treats under the folds of the plait and she sniffs them out and then scoffs them. It’s really good quality and what I like about it is the plait isn’t too tight, just right for the dog to retrieve the treat from the folds and not bite the material in frustration.
My dog absolutely loves her plait. She uses it every night to decompress and runs upstairs to get it for me so I can pop some of her food into it. If I forget she very quickly reminds me that this is a daily part of her bedtime routine. Along with her snuffle ball one of the best toys I bought.
I received an email from Calm Dog Games and was intrigued by the idea of this Puzzle Plait. I watched the video and KNEW that this would be the type of dog puzzle that my dog might enjoy! Needless to say I bought the Puzzle Plait which arrived very quickly and I can honestly say that my dog absolutely loves this plait! It keeps her very happily occupied as she slowly locates each of the treats hidden around the plait and her tail never stops wagging! I would definitely recommend this Puzzle Plait which genuinly enriches and lengthens my dog's enjoyment of treats!
It’s a huuuugec, chunky, soft tug toy that also looks aesthetically pleasing. Ollie loves to rest his chin on it when he sleeps and follows me around the house with it to play tug. My fav way to use it though is as enrichment, hiding treats in it. I sometimes add them without him seeing me so it’s a nice surprise for him when he picks it up. Don’t regret this purchase whatsoever, super happy with it.
